Welcome to Living Spirit United Church!
What to expect when you come to church Sunday morning at 10:30 am…
ELEVATOR and WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE AT ENTRANCE and IN WORSHIP
We have a ramp at the front entrance, an elevator in the church, and wheelchair accessible in worship — so all people of different ages and abilities can participate at the fullest level. There are hearing assists available from the Sound Technician at the back of the sanctuary.
SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP AT 10:30 A.M.
Dress is very casual, a few dress up. When you visit our church you will be greeted and invited to sit anywhere you desire in our sanctuary. The first half of our service is created musically and conversationally for the young at heart and the second half musically and conversationally for those who seek reflection and a more traditional way of being church.
NURSERY, CHILDREN and YOUTH
A nursery worker is available to care for your little one for the entire service, or your little ones are welcome to go downstairs part way through the service with the other children to engage in an environment and spiritual message that is fun and interactive for them.
You are more than welcome to join our Praise Band which rehearses at 9:15 most Sunday mornings or our Spirit Chorus Choir which rehearses Thursday nights at 7:30 and Sunday mornings at 9:45. Our Music Ministry is led by a young married couple: Greg our Praise Band leader who can play and sing anything from Beatles to Beethoven and Amanda Massey our Music Director who is classically trained and gifted in bringing out the songbird in everyone, even those who cannot read music.
COFFEE AND FELLOWSHIP
After the service you are invited to come into the Fellowship Hall, adjacent to the sanctuary to grab a travel mug of coffee, visit with folks and ministers after the service, and look at our living narrative wall which helps orient you to the church and outlines all of our programs and activities that are available for you to become involved in if you so choose.
