There are lots of ways to get involved in Healing & Pastoral Care at Living Spirit. You can volunteer to help or receive from those offering healing and pastoral care.

Healing Team:  Provides healing touch to people who are seeking healing and integration of body, mind, heart and spirit on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 1-3 pm. Call the office to arrange for an appointment for healing touch.  You can also offer your healing gifts by   undergoing training in hands on healing as outlined by the United Church of Canada.

Pastoral Care Team: Make casseroles or train as a visitor on our Pastoral Care Team which provides casseroles, visits, phone calls and support to people who are ill or in need or transition.

Shut-In Ministry: Be a visitor for elderly members of our congregation who are shut in their own home or a long-term facility.

Funeral Reception Team:  Host receptions for people who are grieving at our funeral receptions at Living Spirit United.

Chinook Care Centre:  On the 3rd Wednesday of every month we provide a worship service to seniors and residents of the Chinook Care Centre who enjoy a traditional United Church service and minister to the elderly in and beyond our community.

Prayer Chain: Become a member of our Prayer Chain and provide healing and support through prayer in your own home.
